Diocese of Wroxall Abbey

Wren’s Chapel was consecrated as Wren’s Cathedral, Wroxall Abbey on 26th July, 2009. This prestigious occasion marked a long and distinguished history as a place of worship within the region. The Diocese was named the ‘Diocese of Wroxall Abbey’.

The Rt Revd Dr David E Carr was ordained First Bishop of The Diocese of Wroxall Abbey; Wren’s Cathedral becoming the Bishop’s Seat.
